Licensing

The Licensing Act 2003 came in to force on 24th November 2005 and new Premises and Personal Licences are now operational. All existing justices' licences have now lapsed and are no longer valid.

It is an offence to carry out licensable activities without proper authorisation under the Act. As such, you are strongly advised to seek professional advise at the earliest opportunity before embarking on a licensing project.

We offer practical solutions for all of your licensing requirements, from the routine through to more complex matters. We act on all aspects of licensing from the initial stages of making an application to ongoing operational issues. In advising clients we look at the bigger picture and how best to achieve our clients aims, whether this be through the application process or negotiating matters with local police.

We advise on:

On-licenses
Off -licenses
Convenience stores
Wine bars, restaurants and night clubs including supper hour and extended hours certificates
Public entertainment licensing
Extension of hours
Occasional licences/certificates
Special hours certificates
