James Ressel

James is a founder member of the firm and is now a part time consultant solicitor with the firm. He is an experienced litigator and family lawyer covering divorce law, personal insolvency, civil and commercial litigation with a bias towards financial and property disputes contentious and non-contentious. He advises a wide range of business and individual clients, both in UK and overseas. James applies his extensive legal experience to providing effective and practical advice and solutions to clients.

James is a member of a number of professional associations including Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association, the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association and SLSA, Society of Legal Scholars. He has previously taught a law at a number of universities including Birkbeck Law School, University of London, the Open University and University of East London and currently he is a Senior Lecturer in Law at University of Northampton.
